Atlanta's Soil Conditions: Heavy clay structure. Make room in your yard for a compost pile. The addition of decayed leaves and pinestraw to your soil will more than compensate for the clay density.
|
Weather & Climate: Zones 7 and 8. Atlanta's climate is hospitable to most flora. Very few plants require winter protection. Watering periodically is necessary during the hot, dry summer months.
